Commitment to all children in Upper Arlington
As a mother of two sons who are actively involved in Upper Arlington High School, Lori has seen just how special our schools are. She has seen children grow up alongside her boys, and how UA Schools have helped shape each of them. On Board of Education, she will work to make sure that our schools continue to be a model of excellence in the community and ensure that our children are prepared for the future.
Strong desire to strengthen our community
As a member of UA Board of Education, she will listen to the concerns of parents, students, and UA residents to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard. In order to maintain excellent schools, we must continue to improve. Lori will introduce new thoughts and perspectives, and evaluate and possibly challenge past practices in order to affect true, long-lasting change.
Experience we need to enhance and serve our wonderful community
Lori spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, and served as Chairman, President, and Officer of several mutual fund boards. She will use her professional experience to ensure that the Board is fiscally responsible with taxpayers’ money.
With a Masters of Education, Lori has extensive experience as a teacher for Columbus City Schools, Ohio Virtual Academy, and The Ohio State University. Through teaching, Lori understands the challenges that teachers, administrators, and students face.
